What made you want to do the work you do? Please share the full story.
I think everything I do is closely connected with my U.S. experience in 2006. I realized the importance of building a personal brand in New York City, and I have gone into overdrive, which has truly worked miracles. I have opened many doors as a result, moved up in the world, gained ground, and gone places.
How is AI changing your business? What changes are you making to adapt?
AI is changing my work dramatically. I save time, reduce costs, improve efficiency, analyze consumer behavior, and I am truly in the catbird seat. I was building my personal brand from scratch on X and across other social media channels, but with AI tools, I work much faster and turbocharge my business.
Tell us about a time where you saw a surprising outcome that you did not expect.
When I built my website in 2015 at www.vladimerbotsvadze.com, I never imagined my investment would allow me to reach incredible heights. I have always believed in my work, and as I have gained momentum, I have won awards, been a guest on podcasts, lectured at business schools, advised boards, and, literally, maximized my success through my website.
What is a habit you try to stick to and how has it helped you?
It is all about self-awareness. I know what I am good at, and I just fire on all cylinders. My personal brand is a roaring success in 2026, and I have shown, year in and year out, my consistency, determination, and discipline. Self-awareness has been the backbone of my growth.
What achievement are you the proudest of and why?
Thinkers360 recognized me as the No. 1 Global Marketing Thought Leader in 2020. This recognition has been possible because I have never rested on my laurels; I have always looked ahead and continued to push myself. I believe that every achievement is a stepping stone to the next level, and I am always striving to raise the bar.
What is your favorite book and why?
James Clear’s book Atomic Habits is truly my favorite book. This book has inspired me to become 1% better every single day. It has taught me that small, consistent improvements can lead to extraordinary results over time. I believe that discipline and consistency are the keys to turning good habits into lasting success.
What advice would you give to your younger self and why?
I’d advise myself to focus on storytelling and content creation. These qualities have allowed me to shine in my late 20s and early 30s. Whoever tells the best stories truly wins. I would tell my younger self to start creating and sharing content consistently as early as possible. The ability to communicate ideas through powerful stories can open doors, build influence, and create opportunities.
Who has been your biggest mentor in life (personal or professional) and how have they helped you?
Gary Vaynerchuk has always been a constant inspiration to me. I have rarely come across such a galvanizing person as Gary. He genuinely wants other people to take action and succeed. I am grateful that he responded to one of my tweets back in 2015. Gary has motivated me to hit the ground running with drive and passion, and his example continues to inspire me to turn my ambitions into reality.
