How did you get started in this business?

My first digital job was drawing maps for the chamber of commerce around the US. I was called in for an interview and they wanted me to use Photoshop, I had lots of experience with photoshop and illustrator. I saw the cartographers using Illustrator to trace maps and I wanted to do that. That led me to Page Layout and Quark Express, I realized to create a book or a trifold flier, it needed to be built in a page layout program using everything from photoshop and illustrator and other technologies together to do it. From all that it naturally took me into web design and because I’m so interested in technology, it was the perfect mix. I ended up leading teams and really getting deep into analytics and marketing technologies. I still can’t believe this is a job.

How does your company make money?
We help people that have negative content online that’s messing with their lives keep their privacy and  present them in the best possible way. We outright remove content from the internet and also work to delist, suppress, negative content while adding positive content to offset it. It’s really great to see that someone who has been defamed or has had their life affected by fake, malicious, or private exposed content, regain their lives.

How does your company go about acquiring new customers?

Our approach to acquiring new customers combines various strategies to ensure a strong online presence and effective outreach.

Online Marketing: We use online marketing techniques such as search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, and content marketing to increase our visibility and attract potential customers. By optimizing our website and content for search engines, and engaging with our audience through social media platforms, we generate leads and drive traffic to our website.

Lead Generation: We also utilize pay-per-click (PPC) advertising as part of our lead generation strategy. PPC campaigns can be an effective way to reach potential customers and generate leads. By strategically selecting keywords and creating compelling ad copy, we aim to attract individuals and businesses who are actively searching for solutions related to online reputation management.

Through platforms like Google Ads, we set up targeted PPC campaigns that appear in search engine results when users enter relevant keywords. To optimize our PPC lead generation efforts, we continuously monitor and analyze campaign performance. We track metrics such as click-through rates (CTRs), conversion rates, and cost per lead to assess the effectiveness of our ads and make data-driven optimizations. This includes refining keyword targeting, adjusting bid strategies, and improving ad copy to maximize the return on investment (ROI) of our PPC campaigns.

PPC lead generation allows us to target specific audiences, control our advertising budget, and measure the success of our campaigns in real-time. By combining PPC advertising with other lead generation strategies, such as content marketing and referrals, we strive to attract a diverse range of potential customers who can benefit from our online reputation management services.

Reputation Management: As a company specializing in online reputation management, we understand the importance of maintaining a positive brand image. We leverage our expertise to showcase our success stories and demonstrate how we can help individuals and businesses improve their online reputation. Positive testimonials, case studies, and client success stories play a crucial role in attracting new customers.

By implementing these strategies, Erase.com aims to attract new customers who are seeking effective solutions for managing their online reputation. Our goal is to provide them with a comprehensive and reliable service that helps them regain control of their digital presence and protect their online reputation.

I was drawn to the marketing industry by my passion for creativity and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. I have always had a deep appreciation for art, design, and visual communication. The dynamic nature of marketing, combined with the constant evolution of technology, intrigued me. Working in marketing allows me to blend my love for creativity with strategic thinking, data analysis, and the satisfaction of seeing tangible results.

What is it that you feel makes you good at your job?

I try to put myself in everyone’s shoes and really deeply care about their everyday work. I feel that empathy in the workplace is what’s missing these days. I always try to empathize and deeply care about everyone I work with and it makes me feel good when we accomplish something together.

What are the disadvantages of working in this field?

Working in the marketing field has its share of disadvantages but they all provide their own unique opportunities that I love to work through. The fast-paced nature of marketing often comes with tight deadlines and high-pressure situations. Meeting client expectations and delivering results within limited timeframes can be stressful and demanding.

It also involves striking a balance between creativity and strategic thinking. Professionals have to align creative ideas with business objectives, target audience preferences, and data-driven insights, which can sometimes be a complex and delicate process for people who aren’t able to strike the right balance. On top of that, marketing is an ever-evolving industry driven by technology and consumer trends. Professionals must continuously stay updated on the latest tools, strategies, and platforms, which requires ongoing learning and adaptability.

What’s the most rewarding part of your work?

The most rewarding part of my work in the marketing field is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on businesses and individuals. Collaborating closely with businesses to develop and execute effective marketing strategies brings me immense satisfaction. Knowing that my contributions have played a role in their success is incredibly fulfilling. Additionally, seeing the positive impact on individuals, such as helping someone rebuild their online reputation and regain control of their professional and personal life, is deeply rewarding. Knowing that I have made a difference in their lives by restoring their confidence and opportunities brings me a great sense of fulfillment

Where is your industry headed? What excites you about the future of this line of work?

The marketing industry is changing fast, thanks to technology leading the way. It’s super exciting for the future of marketing and customer experiences. One thing that really gets me pumped is how we’re relying more on data-driven decisions. With all the data available and fancy analytics tools, marketers can dig deep into consumer behavior and preferences. That means we can create personalized and targeted marketing campaigns that give customers awesome experiences and boost conversion rates.

We’re also seeing the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) and automation in marketing. These AI-powered tools take care of those repetitive tasks, so us marketers can focus on strategy and getting creative. Picture personalized chatbots, dynamic content creation, and predictive analytics. It’s like having a secret weapon for engaging customers and rocking our campaigns.

Oh, and don’t forget about influencer marketing and user-generated content. When we team up with influencers who share our brand values and get customers involved in creating content, it’s a total game-changer. We can reach way more people and build authentic connections that really stick.

So, yeah, the future of marketing is looking pretty rad. Embracing these trends and using cool tech stuff lets us create killer experiences that customers love. It’s all about building strong relationships, growing our businesses, and letting our creativity shine.
