Prophet Kofi Danso and his wife, the Reverend Danso put the Kingdom Message in front of millions of lives all over the world. The strive to train future leaders in the church through the Kofi Danso Ministries. His unique prophetic gift has enabled him to share spiritual understanding with many in the congregation he has built for the Kingdom of God.
Prophet Kofi Danso is the founder and overseer for the Miracle Arena for all Nations. Based in Toronto, Canada, this unique organization has expanded to 18 worldwide branch offices. Each location shares the message shared through the Prophet Kofi Danso and his teachings are broadcast throughout the world on spiritual focused cable channels. His message is clear, understandable, and simplified based solely on the word of our grand creator and on the example set by the savior of mankind, Jesus Christ.
The passionate Prophet has shared his anointing with others by sharing God’s message with the people seeking wisdom and truth. As he shares spiritual keys to the Kingdom of God, he sets before the able hearted ones the same task, to grow in spirit and be an example of God’s love. To facilitate these efforts effectively he and his wife have created the Timothy Generation Sessions and the School of Revival.
Prophet Kofi Danso is a devoted and loving father and husband. His wife, the Reverend JoAnne Danso are raising four daughters in the ministry of God. Together they work to be the example of God’s love and share this with their spiritual family worldwide.
What inspired you to begin teaching religion?
I was called to minister to others many years ago. I always made it a point to keep faith a part of my life but came to realize there was a calling for me to take a bigger share in the teaching work. God has blessed everything I have done since the day I accepted and acted on the calling he gave to me.
Keeping faith first allowed me to be open to hearing his call. This led me to grow a congregation of his people that spans national borders and continues to reach the hearts of those searching for the Kingdom of God.
When you were starting out, was there ever a time you doubted it was the right choice for you? If so, how did you handle that?
Everyone in life encounters doubts, but when it comes to my faith, I have not. When I realized I was being pulled by God himself to preach and teach, there was no longer room for doubt. The same has been true for many people who we have encountered answering the call to serve our creator and father in heaven.
God picks from among those who seek him and those who he blesses must carry his word forward. Christ speaks about how he could cause the rocks to sing his praises, but we know it was people and only the people seeking his Kingdom that are called upon to do this. Once the blessing is clear, there is no longer a doubt that preaching the Kingdom of God is the most important part of our lives. I have been overjoyed to do the work of our creator and spread the teachings of our Savior.
What does a typical day look like for you?
I wake early and spend time in prayer and with my wife. Together we put our spiritual life ahead of all things. By beginning our day this way, it allows us to mold ourselves to the things that must be accomplished in our family, spiritual and literal. From there we have breakfast as a family and we move forward accomplishing the things for the ministry.
What has been your most satisfying moment in your spiritual career?
When someone first hears the calling from God to preach, teach, and study the Bible, it brings me great joy. It is empowering and encouraging to see many people embracing God’s Kingdom.
It is also a blessing to see two spiritual people wed and join their lives together in the service of God and his Kingdom. Being a part of a wedding that brings two hearts together to be evenly yoked in pursuit of God is immeasurably joyful.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not teaching?
I spend time with my family. We enjoy healthy family time engaging in creating memories and developing each of our daughter’s personal passions. Our family is the most important part of our ministry. The bible says that we should raise our children in the teachings from God and it is a joy that we have been blessed to be able to do so.
What does the future hold for you and Prophet Kofi Danso Ministries?
The future will continue to see me and my wife preaching and teaching the Bible to all of the nations of the world. We are working hard with our team of preachers to expand the awareness of God’s Kingdom to every known country.
What books have inspired you?
I am most inspired by the Gospels from the Apostles in Jesus’ day. Their inspirational writing has proven a terrific guide to life, understanding, and personal growth. Reading and learning about what it was like to be with our Savior inspires me to be an ever-present example of his love.
What is one piece of advice you would give to younger Prophet Kofi Danso or young people today?
Read and study your Bible, by any means that works for you, but do it daily. Every bit of scriptural life you read and absorb becomes a part of your heart and feeds your spirit. The stronger your spirit is the more open you will be to adhering to the calling of our Creator himself. That is what I would tell younger Prophet Kofi Danso.
If someone were considering following a similar path, how would you suggest they get started?
I would say to start studying the bible and then bring your questions to those who have done so already. We have multiple programs for training those who are seeking to learn and to teach. We encourage everyone to have an active bible reading routine, along with attending our classes for a better understanding of the kingdom of God.
