It took me four years of hard work at college and a further year to get into the military

When you were starting out, was there ever a time you doubted it would work? If so, how did you handle that?

All entrepreneurs have times where things aren’t working. I’ve been fortunate enough to not have too many setbacks as I work with tangible assets like real-estate.  A few times last year I made a few investments in stocks that were very volatile. I stayed very patience did not panic and averaged down and eventually the investment proved to be profitable. So, I learned how to be patient in turbulent markets

How did you get your first customer?

By working hard, staying patient and eventually giving them what they wanted. Supported their vison of the project and adding our team’s expertise to it . Listening skills are very important when dealing with high net worth clients and building what they want

Staying in a stock when it dropped quite badly and being patient. Averaging down by buying more

Hard work, patience and not giving up on anything. You have to keep getting up to bat even if you strike out a few times. This is what sports taught me

What has been your most satisfying moment in business?

When I bought a stock and stayed in it and bought more when dropped and eventually made a lot of money when it moved back up

What are you most excited about?

We have several long terms development projects on the horizon, and I am looking forward to seeing those large projects get built over the next several years. Some of these real estate projects will change the landscape in my beloved city Vancouver
