Jeff has been making consistent efforts to take every step possible for not only meeting appliance repair needs of customers on priority basis, but also ensuring their happiness by going the extra mile to ensure their satisfaction levels are far beyond their expectations.

How did you get started in this business?

As I already had been working in the home appliance industry from the last 20 plus years, I had developed all the expertise required to be a leader in this business.

How do you make money?

I provide extended assistance on a priority basis, timely manner and efficiently to those customers who require repair and fix of their home appliances being the need of the hour for them. I do realize the significance of having a well trained team and happy team members. So, I keep arranging team trainings for the team consistently so that they remain motivated towards delivering productive outcomes. I always focus on achieving the end goal which is the exceeding level of customer satisfaction.

How long did it take for you to become profitable?

Unlike any other successful entrepreneur, I also faced plenty of challenges in the initial phases of finding the right talent pool, developing a sense of trust among target customers etc. However, because of my long-term experience in the appliance industry, I did not find the journey to be extremely challenging compared to a novice entrepreneur. And that background and experience had supported me in starting to make profits within a few years after launching the business.

When you were starting out, was there ever a time you doubted it would work? If so, how did you handle that?

I did not hold any second thoughts when I had started the business. I had a sense of confidence in what I have achieved over these years, and that is what gave me an assurance towards being successful in this business over the years to come.

How did you get your first customer?

I met my first customer when I was actually in my previous organization and had formulated plans of starting my business. So, he was one of my colleagues there. I informed him about my business plans and services I aspire to give to customers. And because he was facing an issue with one his home appliances not working properly, I offered him my service for free. The appreciation I received from him started turning into more and more customers through referrals, and that is how my customer base expanded.

What is one marketing strategy (other than referrals) that you’re using that works really well to generate new business?

Because of the solid and strong reputation and name I have built over all these years in the home appliance industry, word of mouth and referrals have proven to be working in my favor for revenue growth of my business. I have developed and continue to develop long-term, fruitful and healthy relationships with leaders in the industry who pave the way for me to reach my end customers. Also, currently I am in the process of building a social media presence.

What is the toughest decision you’ve had to make in the last few months?

Because the prevailing pandemic has affected our employee working conditions, I would say sending my employees to customers under such dreadful circumstances with the virus all around and everywhere, was very challenging. I had to be courageous in putting my employees at risk in order to achieve urgent needs of customers, with no alternative solution.

What do you think it is that makes you successful?

I believe my belief of putting my employees and my customers ahead of everything else is what has led to the success of my business. Also, our add-on service of providing one year repair parts and labor warranty has boosted confidence among customers that they have on us, contributing greatly towards our success.

What has been your most satisfying moment in business?

When my first customer was immensely satisfied with my services and he gave me referrals, is when I was the most satisfied, as that gave me the confidence of winning the hearts of my customers.

What does the future hold for your business? What are you most excited about?

The plans in terms of future are opening more franchises in more states all across the United States, and increasing employee strength as well along the line.

What business books have inspired you?

I have been deeply inspired by the book “Awaken the Giant Within” by Tony Robbins. I have also got inspiration from “The Entrepreneur Mind” by Kevin Johnson.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

I would advise the young entrepreneurs of today to remain consistent and dedicated towards their dreams and business ideas. Never get swayed by failures, as they are the foundation to success.

Are you willing to be a mentor? If so, how should someone contact you?

I have been trying my best to train my team members by imparting them my skills and knowledge.
