James Strole is the President and Co-founder of People Unlimited, Inc. with his partner of 50-years, People Unlimited Co-founder Bernadeane.
At a very young age, James questioned the role of aging in our lives. He could not see the logic in people dying just when they’d lived long enough to gain some real wisdom. When Strole questioned his mother on the subject, she encouraged her son to pursue answers to those question. Through research and study, he did exactly that. He became involved with Integral Yoga, a practice developed in India based on creating super enlightenment to create a super-body that would never perish.
While attending college in 1968, Jim met his soon-to-be partner, Bernadeane. By 1972, they were working together to introduce people to the concepts of a super longevity lifestyle. They eventually realized they needed a place where they could inspire, educate, and connect people who were interested in radical life extension and physical immortality. This shared vision came into fruition with the creation of People Unlimited, Inc.
In 2015, People Unlimited, Inc. reached out to the global life extension community to create the nonprofit Coalition for Radical Life Extension, which puts on the largest super longevity event in the world, RAADfest. RAADfest features scientists and thought leaders from across the anti-aging industry and attracts participants from over 30 different countries.
The future looks bright for People Unlimited, Inc., with events scheduled throughout the year to share information and inspiration on unlimited lifespans. People Unlimited, Inc. events are attended by renowned doctors, scientists, authors and the like from all over the world who present new innovations and modalities for a super longevity lifestyle.
How did you get started teaching super longevity for People Unlimited Inc.? What inspired you to start this business?
I had a passion to create a super longevity community. I wanted to see people supporting each other to live and create a better world. Together, Bernadeane and I have created the largest community of its kind, located in Scottsdale, Arizona.
When you were starting out, was there ever a time you doubted it would work?
I thought it was the right decision from the start. I never doubted it. Now longevity is becoming more and more mainstream. Everyone thought that we were crazy in the beginning. Now the idea of curing aging is becoming more widely accepted. Top scientists and doctors are working on new therapies to take us into infinite lifespans.
What is one marketing strategy that you’re using to further build your community?
Like-minded people working together for a single purpose is a powerful thing. The most powerful way to promote that is through word of mouth. It will take a critical mass of people to be able to create a tipping point for physical immortality. We have to create a greater value of life. The more you expand your life, the more you expand the value of life. People who are passionate about living are helping to spread the word.
What is the toughest decision you’ve had to make in the last few months?
The most adversarial situation we face is in addressing people who do not have the same value of human life. I can’t be deterred by their skepticism. I simply decide to move forward and not look left or right. It is tough not to get caught up in the fray, but I can’t afford to give my energy to it.
What do you think it is that makes People Unlimited, Inc. successful?
I think that genuine human connection is what makes us so successful. People meet Bernie and I and can see that we really do care a great deal. We care about our own bodies and we care about those we work with. We create an environment conducive to our values where people can really thrive.
What is your most satisfying moment in business?
The most satisfying moment is when you can see the light bulb go on in someone’s head. There are people who come here are not privy to the information we provide. They listen to our conversations and you can see when the light turns on and suddenly they can perceive something much bigger for themselves. It’s really a beautiful thing.
What does the future hold for People Unlimited, Inc.? What are you most excited about?
It is so rewarding that we are reaching people across the world who recognize our efforts to bring people together to end death. I see People Unlimited, Inc. growing in a massive way. People who want to live longer and better need community, and People Unlimited, Inc. helps provide that.
What business books have inspired you?
I have a long list of books that have inspired my journey. The top three books that I would recommend have to be Fantastic Voyage by Ray Kurzweil, The Power of Eight by Lynne McTaggart, and Juvenescence by Jim Mellon and Al Chalabi. They changed my life.
What is one project you are working on currently that you would like to share?
The greatest project that we are working on right now is RAADfest. It is a global event that brings together the leading minds in super longevity to provide information and inspiration on all the latest and greatest developments in the field. This year it is in Las Vegas and will be our most powerful and informative event yet.
