How did you get started in this business?

When I met Thomas Morgan Jr. I found a like-minded person sharing the same passion to build a world-class investment advisory team along with a profound interest in developing custom wealth management solutions and an entrepreneurial spirit. And this is how I got the last push to found Corps Capital Advisors, LLC.

How long did it take for you to become profitable?

Not very long. In a couple of months, Corps Capital Advisors was able to make a reputation in the market because of the experience and credibility I and my partner Thomas Morgan Jr. hold in the financial advisory circle.

When you were starting out, was there ever a time you doubted it would work? If so, how did you handle that?

Never! Since both I and the co-founder of Corps Capital Advisors, Thomas Morgan Jr. had a proven experience and well-connected network in the industry, we knew it would work well.

How did you get your first customer?

The first customer of Corps Capital Advisors was a former client of one of the firms we worked with years back. He heard about us and showed trust in our abilities. Let me give credit to our strong communication skills and the exceptional customer service that helped Corps Capital Advisors win its first customer.

What do you think it is that makes you successful?

Discipline, being organized, and a commitment to hard work.

What has been your most satisfying moment in business?

Every time I see a happy customer referring my services to others, it gives me immense satisfaction. I feel great and motivated to offer even better services.

What business books have inspired you?

The 4 Hour Workweek by Tim Ferriss, which inspired me to dream big, financially, personally, and in every other way.

Stray Reflections by Jawad Mian. As Author Anne Lamott said “To read Stray Reflections is to be immersed in the timeless wisdom of the great poets, saints, and philosophers. This book is an antidote to the great angst of modern life.”

How Will You Measure Your Life by Clay Christensen. It is such a wonderful book forcing you to confront the beliefs and thoughts that are either making you miserable or happy.

And the list goes on.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Know when to leave. Whether it’s friendships, relationships, or your career, recognize the signs when it’s time to move on. This means you may need to take a risk but do that timely.

The Happy Body, a book by Aniela Gregorek and Jerzy Gregorek. It is not just an amazing read but also a mindful exercise & nutrition program that helps you break free from bad habits and excel.
