What is your topic?
Depression
What was your life like BEFORE you addressed this issue in your life?
I never left my room and woke up everyday at 12pm thinking about how much I hated my life. I would try to not see the light.
What emotions were you feeling BEFORE you dealt with the issue?
I hated my life and wanted to kill myself. I constantly had a negative aura and I thought it could not go away.
How was this issue affecting your life?
Well it caused me to have bad grades and it caused me to stay in toxic relationships where I was dependent on the other person to not feel depressed.
What primary strategy or practice did you implement to address the issue?
I made a goal to fix these issues and signed up for a course which taught me about how everything starts in the mind in terms of mindset and I made changes of everything which was helping me versus not and I eliminated things which hurt me and added only things which helped me reach my goals. I also learned to set measureable goals monthly.
Where did you hear about this strategy or practice?
In a marketing course.
Please provide our readers with the individual strategic steps you took.
1) Set goals for yourself on a health level, wealth level, business level, relationships and fullfillment. Make sure the goals are measureable and set goals monthly and divide them into daily targets.
How long did it take before you saw or felt changes occurring?
After the first month, I noticed an immediate difference when I changed my environment and habits.
What challenges did you face along the way of your personal transformation?
I had to stay consistent and there were times when it was difficult…such as when I was scammed for $40k in a year. I also had my sister die which caused me to be depressed.
How did you address those challenges?
I believed I was capable of solving these problems and even if I didn’t quite have an abundance mindset, I acted as if I did with the hope that eventually I would think like that.
What is life like for you now?
I now run a 7 figure agency and I am extremely happy.
From a broader perspective, what you have learned about yourself through this experience?
I have learned that you must always work hard and if you are depressed usually there is a reason if you search deep enough…for me it was disattisfaction in who I was.
What advice would you give others facing this challenge?
I would say you should figure out why you are depressed and I would also recommend therapy if it is really bad.
What continues to give you strength?
All of the things which I have accomplished continues to give me strength
If others reading this would like to connect with you to ask questions, are you open to that?
