Northeast Editing

Since education has seen major shifts in recent years, especially with the rise of digital learning, Northeast Editing has had to adapt.

“We’ve embraced the changes head-on,” Tracey says. “Digital learning has revolutionized education, and we’ve worked hard to stay at the forefront of that shift. Many of our projects now focus on creating digital resources—whether that’s interactive content, online course materials, or multimedia lessons.”

Tracey went on to add that her company also partners with tech-savvy clients who are pushing the boundaries of how education is delivered.

“The challenge is to maintain the same level of quality and engagement in a digital format,” she says, “but we’ve been successful by continuously training our team in new tools and technologies.”

Business and Social Media

Tracey Biscontini views social media as a double-edged sword when it comes to business marketing. On one hand, she recognizes its unmatched potential to reach audiences worldwide, build a brand’s identity, and foster meaningful customer relationships. On the other hand, she cautions against the pitfalls of superficial engagement and over-saturation. For Tracey, the key lies in balance and authenticity.

“Social media is like the town square of the digital age,” Tracey often says. “It’s where businesses can meet their audience, share their story, and establish trust. But if your approach is purely transactional or inauthentic, people will see through it.”

She emphasizes the importance of storytelling in business marketing with Northeast Editing, particularly on platforms like Instagram and Facebook, which rely heavily on visual and narrative content.

She believes that sharing behind-the-scenes moments, customer testimonials, and even challenges can humanize a brand, making it more relatable. However, she’s also an advocate for mindfulness in marketing, ensuring that businesses prioritize quality over quantity.

While Tracey acknowledges the ever-changing algorithms can be frustrating, she views them as an opportunity to adapt and innovate.

“Social media is dynamic, just like any business. Staying flexible and true to your mission is what sets lasting brands apart,” she advises.

Next Book

Following the success of her debut book, Tracey is gearing up to release her highly anticipated second work, Business Advice for Women. Building on the foundation of her first publication, she plans to deepen her impact on women navigating the business world.

Business Advice for Women is envisioned as a comprehensive guide tailored specifically to address the unique challenges and opportunities women face in various industries. Tracey plans to incorporate a blend of practical advice, motivational stories, and actionable steps that empower women to take charge of their professional journeys.

“This book is for every woman who dreams of leading with confidence and creating meaningful change in her field,” Tracey explains. She emphasizes the importance of fostering a supportive community and leveraging one’s strengths to overcome obstacles.

In addition to her forthcoming book, Tracey is exploring several other projects that align with her mission to uplift and inspire women in business. One of her key initiatives is a series of interactive webinars and workshops designed to complement her written work. These sessions will offer personalized coaching, networking opportunities, and hands-on exercises to help women implement the strategies discussed in her books.

She is also in the early stages of developing a podcast titled EmpowerHER Business, where she will interview successful female leaders from diverse backgrounds. The podcast aims to provide listeners with firsthand insights into the journeys of these trailblazers, highlighting the lessons learned and the resilience required to succeed. “Hearing real stories from women who have navigated similar paths is incredibly powerful,” she notes.

Looking further ahead, Tracey envisions a trilogy that delves into different aspects of women’s professional lives. The third book, Innovate and Inspire: Women Driving Change, will focus on innovation and leadership, encouraging women to spearhead initiatives that transform their industries. The fourth installment, Balancing Act: Harmonizing Career and Personal Life, will address the often complex dynamics of maintaining work-life balance without compromising one’s ambitions.

Tracey Biscontini’s dedication to empowering women through her writing and related projects underscores her commitment to creating a more inclusive and equitable business environment. With Business Advice for Women on the horizon, she continues to inspire and equip women to achieve their fullest potential, proving that with the right guidance and support, the possibilities are limitless.

Life Lesson: Show Up and Don’t Quit

As a teenager, Tracey was like most high school students—eager to fit in, juggling classes, extracurricular activities, and the pressure to figure out who she wanted to become. But one experience, in particular, left an indelible mark on her life and shaped the person she grew to be.

Tracey was 16 when she decided to run for student body president. She wasn’t the most popular or outspoken student, but she had big ideas about improving the school’s outdated library and fostering a sense of unity among the diverse student body.

Her friends encouraged her, but others dismissed her chances. “Why waste your time?” they said. “You’ll never win against someone like Kelly Morgan,” referencing the confident and charismatic star athlete who was also running.

Undeterred, Tracey worked tirelessly. She spent late nights crafting campaign posters, brainstorming speeches, and, most importantly, listening to her classmates’ concerns.

But as election day approached, she began to doubt herself. Kelly’s campaign was flashier, and her natural charm seemed unbeatable. Tracey contemplated dropping out, wondering if her efforts were in vain.

The night before the election, her father gave her advice she never forgot: “Tracey, success isn’t about winning. It’s about showing up, giving your best, and standing by your values. Even if you lose, you’ll learn more from trying than you will from quitting.”

Inspired, Tracey gave her final speech with heartfelt conviction, sharing her vision and personal stories. Though she didn’t win, she earned the respect of her peers. More importantly, she realized the truth in her father’s words—courage and perseverance matter more than the outcome.

That lesson became a cornerstone of her life. Whether tackling challenges in her career, relationships, or personal endeavors, Tracey approached them with the same determination and integrity she discovered in herself that pivotal year.

Looking back, she often credited that teenage campaign with teaching her the power of resilience and the importance of staying true to oneself.

Oil Painting Hobby

Tracey Biscontini had always been drawn to the world of colors and textures. Growing up, her favorite memories were of sitting by her grandmother’s side, watching her create intricate patterns on canvas with vibrant watercolors.

But it hasn’t been until recently, after launching her business career and having a family that Tracey discovered her passion for oil painting.

Her love affair with oil painting began during a casual art class at a community center. The instructor handed her a palette smeared with rich, buttery pigments, and something clicked.

As she layered the paint onto the canvas, blending hues and creating depth, she felt an unfamiliar but welcome sense of calm. It was as though the act of painting allowed her to capture not just landscapes or still lifes but also pieces of herself she hadn’t explored before.

Soon, painting transformed from a hobby into a cornerstone of her daily routine. Tracey set up a small studio in her sunroom, its walls lined with canvases depicting everything from serene lakes to abstract explorations of emotion. Friends and family often complimented her work, encouraging her to consider showcasing her art publicly.

The idea of turning her passion into a business began as a whisper in her mind but grew louder with time. “Why not?” she thought. She began to research online art marketplaces and attended local art fairs to connect with other artists. Tracey imagined a dual purpose for her potential business: to share her love for oil painting with others and inspire those hesitant to explore their creative sides.

As she prepared for her first gallery showcase, she felt both excitement and apprehension. Yet, she reminded herself that success wasn’t just about selling her paintings. It was about embracing the journey, celebrating creativity, and proving that it’s never too late to reinvent yourself through art.

For Tracey, oil painting was more than a hobby—it was a bridge to self-expression and new beginnings.

Advice For Entrepreneurs

My biggest piece of advice is to be flexible and open to learning, especially in the early days. The business landscape is always changing, so you need to adapt. Build relationships—both with clients, former clients, freelancers, and your team—because strong, trust-based relationships are the foundation of any successful business. Also, don’t be afraid to start small. Many large companies started as side projects or freelance gigs. Focus on delivering quality, and growth will come naturally.
