He also serves as the General Manager of Villa Homes, LLC, his family’s luxury home construction business, and owns Express Redi Mix, a concrete supply company.

From a young age, I was fascinated by how things worked—whether it was taking apart machines or designing small models, I was always trying to create and improve. My passion for engineering eventually led me to pursue degrees in Mechanical Engineering Technology and Business Administration. My time in the U.S. Air Force strengthened my problem-solving skills and instilled discipline, which translated seamlessly into my entrepreneurial journey. I wanted to build businesses that solve real-world problems, whether it’s through innovative product design, quality home construction, or supporting federal projects that serve veterans and active-duty personnel. What truly drives me is knowing that my work has a tangible impact, from helping a family move into their dream home to delivering high-quality products that improve industries.

Surprisingly Easy:
Building Relationships – Connecting with clients and partners has always come naturally to me. I genuinely enjoy understanding their needs and goals.
Problem Solving – My engineering background has trained me to think critically, so I find joy in troubleshooting and finding solutions to complex challenges.
Adapting to Change – With years of experience, I’ve learned to embrace and quickly adapt to shifts in markets or industries.
Surprisingly Difficult:
Balancing Priorities – Managing multiple businesses and contracts requires constant juggling, and it’s harder than it seems to give everything equal attention.
Staying Ahead of Regulations – Each industry has specific rules, and keeping up with federal, state, and local changes can be overwhelming.

Innovation – I love the process of turning an idea into reality. Whether it’s designing a new product or implementing a construction solution, creating something from scratch is incredibly fulfilling.
Making an Impact – Knowing my work contributes to families, industries, and even national-level projects is rewarding. I’ve built homes, patented products, and developed PPE during COVID, all of which served real needs.
Freedom – As an entrepreneur, I have the freedom to shape my path. I can choose projects that align with my values and make decisions that drive growth without unnecessary bureaucracy.
What are the three things you need in work to achieve purpose? Why are they important to you?
Vision – A clear purpose keeps me focused on long-term goals. Without vision, it’s easy to get sidetracked.
Teamwork – No success is ever achieved alone. A great team amplifies my ability to deliver results and ensures every project is completed with excellence.
Integrity – Staying true to my values builds trust with clients, employees, and partners. It’s essential for sustainable success.
Tell us about a time you were dead wrong about something.
Early in my career, I underestimated the complexity of a large-scale development project. I believed my engineering background alone was sufficient, but I quickly learned that understanding local regulations, managing subcontractors, and addressing unexpected setbacks required a broader skill set. I admitted my mistake, sought mentorship, and invested in learning about project management. This experience taught me the importance of humility and preparation, and it’s something I carry with me to this day.
What is the biggest challenge you face each day and how do you handle it?
The biggest challenge is balancing multiple responsibilities across different industries. Each business requires my attention, and some days feel like a whirlwind. I handle this by prioritizing tasks, delegating effectively, and relying on a strong team. I also block out time for reflection and planning to ensure I stay focused on my long-term vision.

What do you value most and why?
I value integrity above all else. It’s the foundation of trust, whether in personal relationships or business dealings. Without integrity, no partnership or achievement has lasting value. It defines who I am and how I want to lead.
What achievement are you the proudest of and why?
I’m most proud of how my team and I pivoted during the COVID-19 pandemic to manufacture PPE. This effort not only saved lives but also showed me how adaptability and leadership can make a real difference in times of crisis.
What is your favorite book and why?
The Lean Startup by Eric Ries. It taught me the importance of staying agile in business and testing ideas before fully committing. It’s a must-read for any entrepreneur.
If you do charity or volunteer work, what is it and why do you do it?
I actively support local churches, schools, and youth sports programs. Giving back is my way of strengthening the community and setting an example for my kids.
