Darren and Mike started from simple beginnings, but over the years and with the help of some amazing souls, this duo has started what many are calling a global movement.

By creating an online system and community that provides all of the sales tools,
systems, training, and products required to start a successful business online – Mike
and Darren have created a hybrid type business. They have successfully combined
the key benefits from franchise, affiliate, and network marketing models all into one
simple package that maximizes results.

How did you get started in this business? What inspired you to start this business?

Honestly, we started our business for the same reason many people start a business: to make money. We already had some online experience. I had been doing email marketing for many years and Mike had been a business coach previously so we combined our skills and started The Dream Team.

How do you make money?

We have product affiliations within our community. Most people who join us, also buy products, services, course, etc. We’ve created a self sustaining online eco-system of sorts.

How long did it take for you to become profitable?

We became profitable after just a few months. Our business is online so it didn’t require a lot of overhead to start compared to say a restaurant or physical store for example.

When you were starting out, was there ever a time you doubted it would work? If so, how did you handle that?

This was our plan A. Not our plan B. It had to work or we would be homeless right now, so no. We never doubted it would work. It was just a matter of how fast.

How did you get your first customer?

We ran an ad on Social Media (Facebook at the start) and our first customer came from that ad.

What is one marketing strategy (other than referrals) that you’re using that works really well to generate new business?

We highlight others who have become successful in our Community on Social Media. These posts generate a lot of organic engagement and shares and in turn new people end up finding out about us and inquiring about our business.

What is the toughest decision you’ve had to make in the last few months?

With AI, we’ve been able to automate some jobs within our company that we’ve had physical people doing for many years. Unfortunately, we had to make the decision to utilize this technology because our own business plan involves managing less people so that we also create more time freedom for ourselves. It’s a tough choice to choose between your future and somebody else’s.

What do you think it is that makes you successful?

Success didn’t come from being the loudest or the fastest.
It came from being consistent.

What has been your most satisfying moment in business?
Watching people transform their self-belief.

The most meaningful moments aren’t tied to revenue or recognition. They come from witnessing individuals step into confidence, leave situations that no longer serve them, and create lives that reflect their values. That impact outlasts any milestone.

What does the future hold for your business? What are you most excited about?
Depth over scale.

The future isn’t about more noise — it’s about more meaning. We’re excited to build smaller, stronger rooms. To develop leaders who can stand on their own. To create spaces where people feel safe to grow, fail, heal, and rise.
