What made you want to do the work you do? Please share the full story.

As someone with partial vision, I grew up navigating systems not built for people like me. That experience made me want to create something better—for myself and millions like me—so no one has to face the journey alone.

Tell us 3 surprisingly easy and 3 surprisingly difficult things about your business.

• Finding purpose in what we do—it’s deeply personal.
• Building trust with communities—we speak their language.
• Attracting talent who care about inclusion.

• Convincing companies that inclusion is more than just a checkbox.
• Educating funders on the long-term value of accessibility.
• Scaling tech fast without compromising lived experience.

What are the 3 things you like best about your work and why?

I love seeing someone land a job who was once told they’d never get one.
I love working with a team that reflects the community we serve.
And I love that our work is building not just careers—but dignity.

What are the three things you need in work to achieve purpose? Why are they important to you?

Empathy—because inclusion starts with understanding.
Trust—so we can create safe spaces for everyone.
Access to the right tools—because ability should never be limited by design.

Tell us about a time where you saw a surprising outcome that you did not expect.

We once matched a candidate who had faced years of rejection with a remote tech job—and they not only got hired but were later promoted. What surprised me was how fast it happened once barriers were removed. It reminded me that the problem was never the talent—it was the system.

What is the biggest challenge you face each day and how do you handle it?

The biggest challenge is balancing purpose with pace. Inclusion takes time, but the startup world moves fast. I handle it by staying rooted in our “why,” and surrounding myself with a team that reminds me we’re here for impact, not shortcuts.

What do you value most and why?

I value dignity—the kind that comes from being seen, heard, and respected. It’s what I lacked growing up with partial vision, and it’s what we try to build into every job match we create.

What achievement are you the proudest of and why?

Building Enabled Talent from scratch—with no roadmap but a clear purpose. We’ve helped people find not just jobs, but belonging. That’s the kind of success I always dreamed of creating.

What is your favorite book and why?

Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl. It reminded me that even in the darkest moments, we still have the power to choose how we respond—and that purpose can carry us through anything.

If you do charity or volunteer work, what is it and why do you do it?

I started Armaan Foundation to support students with disabilities in small towns like the one I grew up in. I do it because someone once believed in me when the world didn’t, and I want to pass that forward.

Are you willing to be a mentor? If yes, what is the best way to reach you?

Yes, always happy to support others on the journey. Best way to reach me is via LinkedIn or email.

Just for fun, what is your favorite food?

Pasta
