I got started about 15 years ago. My overwhelming desire to help others through their time of need is why I ultimately started my business.

The business makes money by giving back to others, with additional revenue being generated through referrals.

How long did it take for you to become profitable?

It took almost 4 years to become profitable.

When you were starting out, was there ever a time you doubted it would work? If so, how did you handle that?

I felt significant doubt about the ability of the business to survive early on. When I had those doubts, I found it helpful to focus on the ultimate goal of giving back to others. There were many long days and nights spent working very hard trying to overcome those feelings.

How did you get your first customer?

My first customer was simply the result of being in the right place at the right time.

The most effective marketing strategy I’ve utilized is having a very thorough website that is easy to navigate and provides useful information to customers.

The toughest decision I’ve had to make recently is whether to relocate in order to look for new business opportunities.
