How did you get started in this business? What inspired you to start this business?

Indian SEO Company was started in 2005 when Internet Marketing was completely a new domain. Being passionate about Digital Marketing and since I have been studying about this arena for a long time, I thought why not turn this passion into profession to help businesses make aware of the opportunities that the digital media holds.

How do you make money?

We make money by offering digital marketing services to both domestic as well as international clients. ISC has a rich portfolio featuring clients around India and from US, UK, Australia and Europe.

How long did it take for you to become profitable?

It took me around 1 year to secure a strong base for ISC.

When you were starting out, was there ever a time you doubted it would work? If so, how did you handle that?

I was very much optimistic that my efforts will pay. The enormous potential that the digital media possesses to make a business successful gave me the confidence to go ahead with my idea.

How did you get your first customer?

Indian SEO Company’s first client was an US company who previously approached us for web design services.

What is one marketing strategy (other than referrals) that you’re using that works really well to generate new business?

It is search engine optimization.

What is the toughest decision you’ve had to make in the last few months?

Google’s Penguin update caused low ranking of the website which affected our business. It was one of the most stressful phases. In order to overcome the challenges, I had to take some tough decisions that included team overhaul. With the new and more experienced professionals, we made new strategies to bring back ISC on the top of the Google’s rankings.

What do you think it is that makes you successful?

The first one is that ISC was established at the right time. The other factors are continuous market study and constant marketing we carry on to stay ahead make an impact.

What has been your most satisfying moment in business?

Once we successfully executed a 6-month span project of a reputed client from the United States. Its success has been the most gratifying moment for me.

What does the future hold for your business? What are you most excited about?

Expansion of business and reaching the set target are the two things I am really excited and positive to accomplish.

What business books have inspired you?

One book that inspired me to convert my dreams is “The Google Story” by David A. Vise and Mark Malseed. Other than that, I like to read different genres.
