How did you get started in this business? What inspired you to start this business?

I was inspired by the cutting-edge technology that is at the core of our innovative surgical technique, especially since the technology provides patients with a better outcome that wouldn’t be possible otherwise.

How do you make money?

There are a few different ways we make money, but it’s primarily through the software and computer-aided design technology as well as the training sessions we make available to physicians.

How long did it take for you to become profitable?

We were either right on schedule or slightly ahead of schedule.

When you were starting out, was there ever a time you doubted it would work? If so, how did you handle that?

Even when I feel the utmost confidence in something, doubt always finds a way to creep in during the early stages of a project. This was no different, but I’ve learned that it’s best to take a step back and look at the big picture to remind yourself why you felt confident in the first place.

How did you get your first customer?

We connected with our first customers by hosting informational and training seminars in which we focused on how our innovative solutions ultimately benefit the patient in a number of important ways.

What is one marketing strategy (other than referrals) that you’re using that works really well to generate new business?

Our business is best served by targeted marketing efforts, and I’ve been impressed by the results we’ve achieved through the use of automated lead generation software.

What is the toughest decision you’ve had to make in the last few months?

When you have the right tools at your disposal, the decision-making process should be so straightforward that most decisions are downright obvious.

What do you think it is that makes you successful?

As a leader, I try to challenge people to become the best versions of themselves while also showing how willing I am to invest in the people who are so instrumental in a company’s success.

What has been your most satisfying moment in business?

The most satisfying thing about my career is the fact that I am now in a position to use my success to help others.

What does the future hold for your business? What are you most excited about?

We are most excited about the opportunity to make this cutting-edge surgical technique available to patients on a much larger scale.

What business books have inspired you?

Think and Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill.

What is a recent purchase you have made that’s helped with your business?

I made reference to it already, but our investment in automated lead generation software has already yielded some very impressive returns.

What is one of your favorite rewards to yourself at the end of a long day?

I like to sit down and enjoy a good meal, and one of my favorite celebratory meals is a good steak.
