Adam Kutner is a personal injury attorney whose practice is located in Las Vegas, Nevada. An experienced legal advocate who has successfully represented countless clients, Mr. Kutner draws on vast experience that includes over two decades of practice in the Las Vegas area. While Mr. Kutner has represented clients in all manner of cases, his area of focus is on cases involving automobile and pedestrian accidents, slip and fall accidents, dog bites and attacks, wrongful death and bad-faith insurance claims.

After graduating from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, Mr. Kutner gained valuable experience and perspective by serving as an attorney working in defense of the insurance companies. This experience gives Mr. Kutner a unique advantage when representing clients, and his clients can expect Mr. Kutner to be exceptionally prepared when it comes to negotiating a settlement or taking a case to court.

Mr. Kutner has been representing personal injury clients in the Las Vegas area for quite some time now, and the injury firm he founded has fought for proper compensation for clients for over 20 years. During that time, Mr. Kutner has shown time and again the importance of having an advocate who is experienced and knowledgeable in the field of personal injury law.

How did you get started? What sparked this business idea?

After I finished law school and passed the bar examination, I was fortunate enough to work with an insurance firm where I represented the company against personal injury claims. I quickly realized that I would rather be on the other side of these cases and decided to found The Law Office of Attorney Adam S. Kutner and Associates so that I could advocate for those who have suffered injuries through no fault of their own.

How do you make money?

It depends on the nature of the case, but, as with most law firms, we discuss our rates as a part of the initial consultation process, which is free. Every case is different and will present different demands on our time, and our rates reflect that.

How long did it take to get your business into the black?

I have always been someone who does a lot of preparation in anything that I do, so the fact that I had a rock-solid plan in place when we founded the law firm enabled us to be profitable almost immediately. It took a lot of work to lay that foundation, but it was well worth it when we were able to get started without any issues whatsoever.

When you were starting out, was there ever a time you doubted it would work? If so, how did you handle that?

No, I never had any doubts. I have always had success in everything that I have done because I commit to working as hard as possible right from the outset of any endeavor. This work ethic has served me incredibly well throughout my career.

How did you get your first customer?

I had been practicing in the Las Vegas area for some time before opening up the law firm, so there were a lot of people who were aware of my reputation. My first client was referred to me by another client I had successfully represented in another case.

How are you marketing your business? What strategy works best?

The best marketing for us has been the continued success of the law firm in negotiating fair settlements and being successful at trial. We advertise through all of the traditional channels, but a great deal of our clients come to us through referrals.

Is there a trend in your industry that particularly excites you right now?

I don’t know that there is any single trend that is exciting to us, but I have been pleased by the fact that people are able to recognize when negligence has occurred and understand that compensation is warranted.

What is the toughest decision you’ve had to make in the last few months?

There are far too many to mention. Every day at the office is filled with difficult decisions, but I feel confident that we consistently make the right decisions based on what we have been able to achieve for our clients on a regular basis.

What do you think it is that makes you successful?

There is no substitute for hard work, and I put as much energy as possible into every case I handle. I think clients recognize that I am thorough and prepared to do everything in my power to ensure they receive the settlement they deserve.

What has been your most satisfying moment in business?

There have been so many satisfying moments, so many successful settlements and trial outcomes that I couldn’t possibly identify one individual moment. It is incredibly rewarding to see an individual who has been hurt or wronged in some way receive the compensation that they so rightly deserve.

Tell us about one of your hobbies when you’re not working.

I can’t say that I have a lot of time for hobbies, but I do enjoy it when I have the opportunity to catch a University of Miami football game on Saturdays. We had a pretty successful run while I was in law school there, so I just have to hope that the team can get back to competing for National Championships again.

How are you able to manage your caseload with the reputation you have been able to establish over the years?

I am very lucky to work with a great team of attorneys who are willing to work incredibly hard for our clients. We collaborate a great deal and our clients are of the utmost importance to us, so we make sure that our time is completely devoted to getting the best result for our clients in every case that we take on.
